The Newcastle Knights 2022 Mens Indigenous Rugby Jersey combines detailed artwork with practical rugby league shirt construction. Across the lower front, white circles and flowing lines form an interconnected arrangement against the blue fabric. Red patterned sections frame the bottom of the shirt. The back continues the design with blue circular motifs, white artwork around the lower body and red patterned bands at the hem.

The University of Newcastle sponsor panel is positioned across the upper back, with red energy branding beneath. The detailed artwork recognises thirteen First Nations of north and north-western New South Wales and was worn by the Knights against the New Zealand Warriors on 28 May 2022.
